Gonna really clean the car tomorow in hope for passing my test on monday. I've got the rubstrips off but got loads of that sticky shit still on, not the residue, but like the double sided tape. Whats the fastest and most paint-safe way to remove this??

i found the best way was using lighter fluid,the stuff you fill zippo lighters with. A bit of elbow grease and it comes up good.

I done mine with a heat gun on a low setting. try not to put too much heat on the paintwork. and then i used WD40 which worked well beleive it or not!
