Hi guys, please dont comment if its "god another a ibiza"...

Sprayed the centre of my intercooler black today and gave the car a good clean, pics are poor taken in bright light but you can see the change...

Yeah, bit of metal primer for it to try and grip to then three thin coats of gloss black

I'd paint the whole thing black, it looks a bit funny with the end caps still shiny IMO.

I'm no thermodynamics Expert, but i'm pretty sure painting over the metal's going to make the heat dissipation of the intercooler worse than it was originally. Not sure how much, but i'd say it could be quite significant if the coating's quite thick...
