The area probablly isnt the best.
Im guessing its Manchester...
Can get a big 4 bedroom house with garden and garage around here for about £120K
Although the area is rough as fuck... while a similair house over the other side of town would cost £250K+

I agree Byron,I bought the worst [condition] house on the best street - definately the way to make cash
The best bit is, mine was the only unmodernised house so I've taken the good ideas rom the other houses on the street and seen the bad ideas which has helped me produce something which should end up as one of the better houses on the best street

our offer has been accepted - the guy was really nice - he is recarpeting the stairs landing and 3 bedrooms. Leaving the americn fridge - dining table and cabinet in the front room. the garage still has a 5yr warrenty on it. All the heating electrics have all been re done etc. its a great house - now the real stresses begin!!

Niceone
A lot of house for the money. As long as you have decent neigbours you won't have too much of a problem around the area. Where i live in Liverpool is not the best of areas but the neigbours look out for each other so it's not too bad. As already mentioned, nice big garage there to put the motors in so won't need to worry about that.
Better areas mean the prices of houses go up. I'm in the same boat where to buy my second flat i'll need somewhere quietish in a not so good area.
