Theres always been about 7 wireless LAN's around my flat...all secured under WPA. However, one has jsut showed up as Belkin54g, unsecured.

I've just changed the SSID of it to "Secure this Wireless Network"

Geeks FTW

Change it, then put a sign up in the entrance to your flat saying..

'If you ever want to access your wireless net again, send me £3.45 in unmarked coins and a pack of Jelly Babies to...'

I dont like the Belkins, they shouldnt have wireless active until its been setup for that reason alone, people that dont have a clue will just leave them unsecure

There an antena you can buy now that will allow you to pick up Wireless signals from up to 10 miles away

If it wasn't £70 i'd have one of those
