Shouldnt make a difference what setting, its easier to use auto focus though. Use a low aperture also something lower than f5 really for a nice low DOF

Pardon my ignorance, what does DOF stand for?

Yep so for instance:
Aperture f2.8
Very shallow DOF
Aperture f22
Large DOF

as Jonny said low aperture = shallow dof
larger aperture = larger dof

Theres a shop i allways pass, just called ART.They arent a big franchize but they do have quite a few shops dotted about, they do printing at a great price and the quality is amazing,They also transfer pics onto canvas..the sort ud find in argos on 2x2 frame of wood.Places like argos buy off 'amateurs' you just have to get in touch with the person at the top of the chain if u get what i mean, people would snap them up no probs.

Aye, i have made a tiny bit of money off some pics. Sold a few of my Lambo shots to be used in advertising for a supercar hire company. It was a nominal fee but considering i hadnt advertised them anywhere other than putting them up on Flickr i was quite happy. Ive had a few shots used in York City FC's match day program. I do that for free for my love of the club though
