Why do they all seem to be priced so high?
The book price (parkers) is 1500 for a good one down to 800 for a poor example.
So why do all the decent ones have to be £1500+?
Ive only got about £1200 to spend on one!

VX220's are different adam, parkers isn't accurate on specialist cars like that.
A lot of vx220 owners also think their cars are worth much more than they are though.
As long as you can find an idiot to buy at the asking price the car is worth that though.

eh? if parkers says one thing but every one you look at is a higher price then that means parkers is wrong, it doesnt matter what car it is, it should be right or they should take it off cos its useless.

No thats what the car is physically worse but virtually all have below average miles so people bump the price up! Parkers its actually reasonable.

parkers is only a guide.

Just because you own the car, doesn't make all the others worth more
PH is free don't forget, and full of dreamers waiting for someone to come along and buy their 'well looked after, enthusiast owned' example

Autotrader and 'sometimes' ebay are good for sensibly priced cars.
Just had a search, autotrader has more sensibly priced vx200 turbs

Parkers is just a rough guide, but ive noticed the sports going up in price myself.
Picked a 1416 up at the weekend for 1400, and its mint.
