Project Red Badger

Right then Folks …

Brought a new Car couple of weeks ago thought it was time to post here and get some comments...

Here is the spec :-

Flame Red body , Metallic Black bonnet & roof.
Smoothed Front & Rear Bumpers, Semi Smoothed Boot (De-wipered & De-locked)

Back lowered by the previous owner cutting the springs … (idiot) (New Springs ordered 23/02/2008)
Tinted Front & Rear Lights.
Red Rocker Cover.
M3 Style Mirrors.

With every car I have brought (unlucky I suppose) there is always a to-do list

URGENT

Idling too low ( Cleaned air hoses Still no good going to blank EGR Valve ??? )

Got no Speedo …>> So gotta take clocks out and see if they are ok if they are fine need to check gearbox connector

Got no Heaters …>> Check connectors at the back of center console ( Checked Wires 19/02/2008 & Ordered new Thermo ) .. If not sorted check thermostat (Thermostat Received 23/02/2008 still no good ??)

Rocker Cover leaking …>> Replace gasket and clean Rocker Cover (Completed 24/02/2008)

Strange knocking from front passenger wheel …>> checked yesterday and the Driveshaft gattor has gone and there is grease everywhere ,, so im going to take the Driveshaft out of the Bogey and replace this one (Completed 21/02/2008)

Does the egr valve affect driving etc? if not blank it up and forget!

but do the paperclip test to find fault code if problems are happening.

Other than that- love the front bumper, makes it unique! will be nice to see it next sunday hopefully!

Yeah will hopefully see you all Sunday woo cant wait lol

as for the EGR valve, it make my car jerky and idle really low , had it on the diognostics and it says EGR Valve, sometimes when coming upto junctions its cuts out and i have to restart and rev to keep it going ? hmm

scotts v6 - Yeah gonna get some DTMS love em

all it needs is a clean as all the exhaust coke blocks them up and stops them shutting off and functioning properly

9 times out of ten this is usually the case but if you would want to get a blanking plate i will be happy enuff to fit that for you
