IIRC you have to cut the old one out and weld the new one in.

I welded one in on a car for a member on here, make sure you get a good quality one, ignore the cheap ones as they simply dont fit right.
simple job if you have the ability to weld.

Totally agree with both points. I bought an aftermarket one. It was a shite fit.
My friend fitted one in his front garden and it was spot on.
