this may seem really really stupid but i have never noticed that the temp gauge on my dials doenst work and that the fans dont come on so how the hell my engine has lasted is a mystery ( might be due to having no grill)
but what should i be checking for ? the fuse is ok btw

Unplug the fan switch and bridge it. If the fan comes in its fine.

Unplug the fan switch and bridge the contacts on the plug with a paperclip or bit of wire.
