new battery and shit arrived...
any suggestions on securing the battery in the box and the box to the floor?
I was thinking drilling two holes in the base of the box and using a securing strip of sorts tight over the battery and then bolted through the box and car floor.... plated of course

I have an aluminium home-made strap with some rubber sheet to keep it all still, worked a treat so far!

I have an Alu tray for the current battery, but will be getting rid of that as this battery needs to be in a box for TimeAttack regs :/

people only seem to sell the ally bracket ones, no enclosed ones,
your initial plan seems fair enough can get some small racket straps now tho

first plan seems spt on, to you need some form of breather foor these battreys, or is that only the "normal" 12v ones when there in a box
