Like the r5 gtt, you have to spend a fair amount of money to get a decent one.As all the cheaper ones have been thrashed to within a centimetre of blowing up.

Good if you dont get a nail. i know someone with one through a mate. and personally i wouldnt really advise one if your not into high maintenance cars. they have their fair share of mishaps

i have had 2 and only things that went on mine was rear trailing arms ,bushs and brake pipes corroded early which fiat fitted for free!!

other than that just maintain them like any other car.

they only go wrong when people who dont know what they are doing get hold of em ie bleed vlave mbc etc etc

oh yeah and check the oil its there hercules heel they use it and people forgot to check then blow bottem end up or turbo coz of lack of oil in system.

my mates one,

paid a little bit more for it because it was so well looked after. from the top of my head it has intercooler, chipped, filter, decat SS exhaust and manifold.

also lowered on shocks and springs.

running 170 IIRC.

been completely resprayed, and sealed underneath,

has had it for 18 months or so and nothing has gone wrong.
interior is something to be experienced.

oh yeah something did go wrong, electric windows sticked, but was an easy fix.

I think stock ones are fine but most have been tuned dangerously to the point that they are unreliable. More boost is easy and most people don't worry about stronger parts till they snap

You mean Acciles numb nuts

Brother had the GT3.

Had 75k miles on it and it never missed a beat, so much better made than the lower spec Punto's.

Had seb2, 14psi, full system and it made 170bhp, and it wasen't shy!
