Not been posted on here that Ive seen, atleast not recently.

From what I understand it wont happen, Gillett wont sell to Hicks. And Hicks is unwilling to put in any of his own cash, or get loans against it, so would have to find a way of raising the £200m+ it would take.

I have no idea how all this is going to end. I would like DIC to take control as it seems impossible for Hicks to win the fans over once again - but Im also not so much against Hicks as some people are and although I know he is only there until the stadium is built so he can make mega money I really dont think he will ruin the club until then.

I dont see it ending soon, will easily drag out until the end of the season IMO.

If anything DIC may get hold of Gillett's shares plus a small amount of Hick's. And then Hicks will hold them to ransom for the rest of it.

They came in saying and doing all the right things (no debt on the club, would provide funds, wanted to redesign the stadium, etc.) and it all went well.

First signs were when Rafa came out after the CL final saying he wanted backing fast in the market and this didnt happen. They didnt really provide anymore funds than in previous years when you consider player sales.

Since then its been one mistake after another - with only the signing of Mascherano and the stadium design being two positives.

Looks like DIC are happy to get their foot in the door with a 49% stake at the least, or a possible 50% stake but giving management control to Hicks.

I only see this as a short term thing for DIC though, and fully expect them to make things difficult for Hicks and buy him out asap.

Hicks pulls out of any deal and blocks DIC from buying any stake.

Mainly because they wanted a big say int he way the club is run, and Hicks knows if this happens his time at the club will come to an end and he will miss out on his big jackpot when the stadium is built.

If it takes another few months of his shit to be totally rid of him then I'll take that. Rather that than allowing him full control anyway!!
