Blowing behind the cat and its that bad it just pulls infront of my mates mk5 1.4 8v polo and keeps up with the 1.25 zetec fiesta


Exhaust paste me thinks tomorrow

i thought mine was blowing a little bit, found out last weekend my backbox has snapped off but the rubber mounts were holding it on.
what kind of power losses can you get from this?

get another centre section welded on as you will only end up re-applying exhaust paste every week.

Thought about that, possilbe chance of just welding the one thats on now?

It just on the joine between the cat and centre section? Il do a paint drawing in a sec

Well its starting to annoy me that my mates polo only has 60bhp and mine just pulls away

Might weld it on the middle section side and exhaust paste the other as i dont think its as bad on that side

Mine is the connection between the cat and the cat-back pipe dubrey, the guy who fitted my cat says that it was a very tight fit and had to use some exhaust paste

What a car that came with 89bhp and is now as slow as a 60bhp polo? Hmm there escaping somewhere and its annoying lol

cut the cat and middle box out and put a straight through pipe in its place then it will roar

Me thinks new exhaust

ive got big holes in mine at the moment, ive put loads exhaust paste onit just comes off in time. got it booked in for a straight thru de-cat at the end of the month

Nah i like the exhaust note i have now just want my top end power back thats being stole from it blowing.
