heya all, i drove to and from santa pod yesterday, i wouldnt say i wos thrashing it, averaging 60ish there and back, altough i did hit 100 not for long tho( on the clocks), now this morning i drove to work and its super sluggish and tontie when i slowed down for a roundabout it was shaking like Fook as if it was going to stall and then i pulled off and it struggled but then all of a sudden jsut puleld like normal!!

+ im below minimum on oil!! i dont know much about engines, hopefully someone can help me!

Air flow meter?

Edit: As below it doesnt have an air flow meter Head gasket? Get some oil in there, check water too.

i had this problem, think its your headgasket.

as a start try putting some oil in before you go any further?

It dont have an air flow meter.

Is it a distributor engine? Or dispak?

only jsut checked the oil, and then ill go check it again, but i think its more than jsut the oil,

Check your inlet manifold gasket - mine ran pretty poor when that had gone - was only cheap from vauxhall, so worth checking before taking the head apart to change the head gasket .

you have the C12NZ modulator problem which results in the engine dropping to 45bhp and getting overtaken by bin lorrys

Thats a dizzy/coil engine.

I had a similar problem with a loss in power, and then it would return to normal again.
It was the ignition coil.
