thinking of coming up for a weekend away with the missus what is there to do during the day/at night & how expensive do you imagine it would be ie meals/drinks at night?

Well you've got the touristy stuff in Edinburgh, like the castle and botanical gardens, good for shopping apparently and not a bad nightlife...i've not been in Edinburgh for a while but from what i know it's a bit more pricey than Glasgow...if you like seafood go to the muscel inn between £15-20 for a maincourse, drinks reasonable...can you tell i'm doing a sales pitch for the family restaurant

edinburgh is good for a weekend break. good bars and clubs. plenty of photo opertunities to be had. bring an umbrella....

just live about 20mins drive from edinburger
its a gd place for a wekeend as sayd, bring some cash as teh bars are pretty pricy but at the same time u get ur cheeper ones like everyware else
