rite my MOT runs out on saturday but i carnt get the car MOT'D till monday, do the police offer any slack with things like this like say 7days after the mot expires you have to get the car mot'd or something

nope once its out of date thats it you cant drive it unless you are on your way to the garage (and its booked in)

Well thats your own fault you can have your car motd up2 a month in advance so thats plenty time to get a mot on it why leave it till it runs out?

points + fine + possibly taking your car tbh as you effectively have no insurnace (thats the worst case)

best case is they can just warn you not to drive it again untill you take it to the garage

u can drive it to the mot centre providing you have a booked appointment with them but thats it
