Can you get a conifer type tree that grows to 8-15ft and stops??
Likewise 2-3 foot.
Need a row for the back garden and one for the front.

nope, but you can keep them trimmed to that size.
if thing's stopped growing at certain height's, i could be out of a job

well they dont just grow for ever do they? i'm pretty sure mine haven't gained any extra height in the last 3 years.

Ive got 2 conifers that are roughly 3 foot and have kept them in a small pot so they dont grow anymore, if you just plant it straight into the ground they will just grow and grow. Believe its as someone said about the roots?
