Well i recently bought a badboy bonnet on ebay, was also for sale on here from a cs member
Was told by the seller quote: 23-Feb Dear corsa953,
good con no damage
- autospares_4_u
So thought great
I didnt win the auction was out bidded but then recived a 2nd chance offer 29-Feb so jamp at it and payed right away
I emaild asking on a delivery date
Was then told told quote: 05-Mar-08 Dear corsa953,
been collected friday as only day courier had available for parcel of its size so should be midweek at latest
- autospares_4_u
Waited a week nothing emailed the seller and was told quote: 18-Mar-Dear corsa953,
heres tracking number jd0002296160963488 theyve told me should be their tomorrow or day after
- autospares_4_u
Now i checked the tracking number and found out this
Status Date Time Signatory Branch
Out for delivery 19/03/08 143 INVERNESS SERVICE CENTRE
Arrived At Depot 19/03/08 12:40 INVERNESS SERVICE CENTRE
Arrived At Depot 19/03/08 049 GLASGOW SERVICE CENTRE
Arrived At Depot 18/03/08 21:21 LEEDS - TERMINAL
Parcel Picked Up 18/03/08 12:12 HULL SERVICE CENTRE
Shipment Data Received 18/03/08 HULL SERVICE CENTRE
Now to me it stats it wasnt sent till the 18th?
Anyway arrived today so i thought nice 1 get it off to the bodyshop for some paint
To find this
There are also wee dings in the middle that dont show in the pics
Now it was only wrapped in cling film, i mean seriously what was he thinking?
A few dings from the courier i could under stand but that takes the piss, even the quality in workmanship is poor.
Ive emaild the seller about the damage and am gettin no responce
What should i do?

Wrapped in cling film?! WTF is that going to stop it getting damaged by? Nothing!
Cling film is for protecting your sandwiches - not car body panels!
I'd be fuming!

if you open up a paypal dispute make sure you send it back and it gets signed for or paypal wont give you your money if he says he hasnt got it, paypal helps iv found but youll be waiting 20 working days for a claim to be resolved, and when you open a dispute, wait 3 days for a message from him, if no reply escalate, remeber to escalate or nothing will happen

What tools did they use to do that? A butter knife and a teaspoon?
I hope you get your money back for that.

That is shoddy as fuck looking. Even before the damage it looks like the extented bit has been made of butter slapped on with a knife.

they hide behind the internet, the only way they can be revealed is by customers speaking out in public, sadly when this happens the threads get removed so what are people meant to do, and how are people going to stop being ripped off in future if its all kept hush hush
