Sold the 1.8 Sri today and bought this:
its a 2003 Polo 1.9 Tdi (PD engine), immaculate condition throughout and comes with the dealer bodykit and 17" alloys, gti boot spoiler, nicer interior, 6cd, air con etc......
things on the list to do are some -20mm front springs and -30mm rears and a custom remap (possibly tomorrow if I get time) and thats it.

power after the remap depends if I can be bothered putting a good clutch in really!
standard they are 100 bhp and 180 ft/lb. Ones I have remapped in the past often make 145-150 bhp and 230-240 ft/lb. However some of the PD100 engines have made 130 bhp as standard!
more is possible depending on the ecu type which I will discover tomorrow

About the engines though, everything i've read about these previously has said theres at least different injectors and possibly turbo along with the different map.
If they were the same engine surely everybody would buy it and remap to 170?
