I have a 1999 V Reg corsa Club 1.2 16v with central locking and i want to put in electric windows from a 1.6 16v 1999 V reg corsa...
now i know i need the door cards / with switches etc... motors and rails...
BUT
is there any control unit or anything / how do i find out if the loom in my car can support leky windows....
im sorry im a complete noob!

By the way the doner car is a mate of mines car that he wrote off... he said i need to let him know what i need so he can take it off the car.... as the car is at a mates garage quite far from where i live and i can't get to the car...

so there is no hole where the window winder would be... and mine are a bit hanging

manual windows have holes in the door card for the winder...electric dont

Have a look in the tutorials section, theres a guide to see if you need the interior loom (BIG BIG JOB).
If you dont (sounds like you dont if you have central locking!) you need the door loom, electric motor/runners and the door card so there isnt a hole for the window winder.
Oh and the switches with surronding plastics

People mention this big big job if theres no loom, from what i've seen one guy made it look like a big big job and everybody else does it easily since all you need is a few wires.

It took me around a day to identify the wires and another day to fit the doors and wire properly.
Only problem i had was i couldn't get the passeger mirror working but its not part of the mot

it really is easy to wire up electric windows without the car loom.
ill write a tutorial for it at the weekend if anyone wants me to.

i didnt use the loom, just needed a switched live and an earth and then feed some wires between the two doors, simple.

oh and to check if you have the loom count how many pins are in multiplug, if there are loads the loom is there

right ok! i have checked the multiplug and there is ALOT! of wholes but only about 10 metal pins... will that be enough for the leki windows? will post a pic later.

a dont think so, think it needs to be around 18-19, 12V matt a tutorial would be a massive help like
