is it safe because i seem to find low prices. For example:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fisual-Install-GOLD-Plated-Cable/dp/B0014WH8EY/ref=pd_bbs_sr_12?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1206572514&sr=8-12

Bought from Amazon before, never had any problems. Can't see it not being safe, just buy it from amazon, and not 1 of the "traders"

Might just be a mistake, only a few quid from ebay anyway if you want to be safe.

Seriously?
I got one for about £7 or something. May have been less than that, can't remember. I do remember getting enough change from £10 that I was able to buy some beer

Sad thing is you go into comet and they will not sell you a HDMI cable for less than £50 as anything less isnt good enough. I got one for £7 works just fine.
