A friend upload a video to you tube but can't find the original on his computer, I'm sure I've heard that you can download some software from somewere that allows you to "rip" the flash object from the site.
Is this true? Anyone know of a decent one if it is?

Internet Download Manager.

Once installed, allows you to right click and save any flash videos such as on youtube. Great for managing your downloads too and seems to speed them up slightly as it rearranges all the file types until it's completed.
