Rocker cover needed a paint??? Why?
Never broke down on me with a fuel issue. Only ever broke down once on me and that was due to a hose coming off of the inlet manifold.
It was never 'Always broke' when i owned it.
And it is one of the most immaculate Corsa's around.

Was always perfect when i had it Only a couple of chips on the front near the exhaust if i'm being picky. What colour has it been done in now?
This thread makes me sound like i've sold a shitter that is always gonna be breaking imo.

It cost me 100 quid to get it home, didnt actually take that long.
This thread does make it sound like jay sold me a shitter, which is far from it, it is immaculate, iv not sprayed anything to do with the engine that is how i got it, to me its fine.
Iv had a mechanic out to it and he says its a electrical problem with the ecu and loom and he says its not right because its a conversion, so iv got it booked in on wed to get it hopefully fixed.

Sounds like usual mechanic bullshite that from someone that clearly doesn't want to be wasting his time looking at cars with engine conversions. I'd be looking for help elsewhere personally, otherwise I bet you get a whopping bill.

i didnt want to add to the new owners woes I read that and presumed the mechanic was giving an excuse. There is no reason to suggest a well converted car will be any less reliable than an OE engine.

Just idiots not knowing what comes with ownership of converted cars.
Car was very mint when I sold it and Jay kept it super mint so much so he got priority of the garrage at his parents!
Just look at the pictures of the feature that tells you how it was kept by Jay and Myself.
Rocker Cover was done in pearl powdercoat and had one slight chip in it when I sold the car, engine bay was also majorly mint after a full degrease and steam clean a week before I sold it.
I don not dispute Rob isnt looking after it as he is enjoying it and having fun in it evidently.
Just keep sand away from it....it never ends up well
Fuel relay is a common problem I did a few its just where they are exposed to moisture etc they tend to go.
