You can get van insurance for private use (Non commercial) but then it cant be used for work purposes.

Norwich Union even offer social and domestic van insurance

i had sdp+c on the pick-up

Mines insured for private use only, i use it for fishing, shooting, taking the dogs out, camping, shaggig etc

my friend Luke has a nova van uses it as a daily driver on normal insurance with flux

a nova van, aint really classed as a van, it's still a car, with metal panels, same a corsa van is, but a combo, is a proper van, due to the backend etc

It's not a simple task trying to explain to your insurance company why you want a van for social use, my mate had a right nightmare trying to convince his.

i wouldn't advice insuring a van for private use and using it for a business

guy who wrote my corsa off was using his van for his dj business and has only insured it as private use (cheaper)

got done for it
