im looking to buy a new set of wheels and want to ensure that they wont rub. they are 16" with the option of 30, 38 or 45 offset. tyres will be 40mm profile and 7" wide, what would be the best offset to go for and will it be ok if i drop it 40mm? gratefull for any advice.

go for the 45et. and if you get 195/45 or 195/40 you will be fine 40mm down, you can go 60mm down and shouldnt have any problems
