Quick question.
basically bought an alloy wheel off ebay to replace a buckled one. and i asked the person selling if its the correct size. they said yes, but before i go get it fitted i want to make sure that it actually is the right size and dont look like a plonger.
so my question is, how can i find out if the alloy i bought is the correct size, bearing in mind it has no tyre on it as im going to put the tyre thats on the buckled alloy on to the knew alloy. so how can i make sure that it is indeed an alloy that is 165,65,14?
thanks guys

tyre size isnt dependant on wheel size, or vice versa other than the diameter of wheel
no where does it say the wheel i have needs a tyre size XXX/XX/15 i chose it.
previous tyres were 165/65/14 but i wanted wider, lower profile so went for 195/45/15
