Tempted by the Canon one, supposed to be extremely good value, on par with 'L' lenses apparently. Better things to be spending on at th moment though....

ps. the crop makes it look properly evil

Not sure my skills are up to it yet

Up to Silverstone next weekend with access to the pit lanes, may try and restrict myself to 50mm on the kit lens and see what I can come up with.

Whats the uni project on if you don't mind?

EF (and EF-S) are just the type of mountings that Canon uses.

EOS is a type/brand of camera.

I can only see one....

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Canon-Lens-50-1-8-II/dp/B00007E7JU/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1207738124&sr=8-2

Edit - found the other one labelled EOS, think thats just a mistake. All the reviews with the listing refer to it being an EF lens.

Indeed you have....

I've got an 80-200, 18-55 and now the 50mm think that'll do until i've had some training.

A guy at work is arranging a studio night with 2 models to start the training
