just realy wondering what i'd need to do to fit a 4 branch to the girl's corsa sport?
would i have to blank off the egr? if so how would i do that?
what problem's might blanking off the egr cause?
any other tip's?

Depends which 4 branch. And it's not the EGR you'd be blanking. It's the SAI.
A Janspeed 4 branch would keep the SAI gubbins in place. An SBD or BTB would not. It's pretty self explanitory to do, unbolt old one, bolt up new one. You'd need a new gasket and probably some spare studs and nuts.

I had to take the oil filter off on my c16xe to get the old one off, but not everyone has this trouble.

I did the same on my X16XE, but didn't really check to see whether I had to, I just knew it was easier without the filter and it was time for a oil change anyway!
