Swapped the Golf for this last weekend, the plan is basically to make it look like a standard Zetec S with some decent wheels, then turn the wick up and have some fun.

That's a Focus RS engine, installed by Jamsport, currently running 11.5psi with a Gotech MFI Pro ECU, making 217bhp.

The wheels are already on eBay, the seats are going as I hate them, they'll be replaced with standard Zetec S stuff for now, the mirrors are gone as soon as I can find some silver replacements too...

I've already bought some standard rear lights, need a standard silver Zetec S bootlid if anyone knows anyone with one? Could do with a pair od silver bumpers too.

Tomorrow (Saturday) I'm going to paint the bumper tops black, they look shit silver IMO, and the middle of the front bumper at the bottom will also be black, might even do the door handles.

I need to get some pins for the bonnet as it lifts at the front at speed and scares the crap out of me

Ultimately, it's going to end up as my track car, so cage, buckets and more power will be on the way too

Should be some updates tomorrow.

The engine is very cool but the outside lets it down

Awesome little car rob, fairplay.

Get it looking standard though.

Tuneable engines too... even though it's quick enough I've been in a black one and was suprised how quick it was!

The car looks fine to me. And those wheels are genuine RS Wheels, nothing wrong with those.

I know, I just don't think they suit the car, not to mention them catching and weighing more than the moon.

Not sure I should have painted the grille surround, but other than that, I'm well happy.

The rear lights are going as soon as my standard ones arrive by the way
