right little question here regarding credit cards
i know that if you withdraw cash using your credit card it will charge you a fair bit
if i had a card with 0% apr for like 10 months and send money to my paypal account then withdrew it from my paypal to my bank.
would i get the same kinda charge as if it was withdrawing cash?
this is assuming i pay it all back in 10 motnhs?
P.S. im not trying a scam or anything just curious

Q. Is paypal free
A. Yes, it's free to sign up for a PayPal account and to send money to friends and family. You can also transfer funds from your bank account to your PayPal account at no charge. Premier and Business accounts, as well as Personal accounts that accept credit card payments, are charged a small fee to receive payments.
anyone wanna double check that for me please

That's probably where the charge may exist.

Q What are there fees to withdraw funds from my PayPal account to my bank account?
A. There is a £0.25 GBP fee to withdraw £49.99 GBP or less and deposit it in your UK bank account. Withdrawals of £50.00 GBP or more are free. For more about withdrawal fees for bank accounts
anyone wanna double confirm that for me please

Paypal will take a chunk of the money you pay in, it's normally quite a bit.
Why not just buy the stuff you need to buy on the card?
Also, if you are young and have no credit history, which it sounds like, chances of an interest free card are slim.

No, you can't as it is technically not a purchase, so therefore just a cash transaction, you will be charged just as if you are withdrawing it from the bank
Another way to do it would be deposit money into a bookmakers account, then withdraw it to your bank card, this doesn't work also
They have everything covered mate

So what you are saying is, they don't want the job to go through the books, they want cash in hand?
Personally for such a big job i would want a receipt

The only way you could possibly get it to work is, if you list something on ebay, or get a friend to do so, for the amount of the respray, buy it through ebay, pay via paypal
bearing in mind you will lose quite a large amount in ebay selling fees, and paypal fees to the other person, then get them to withdraw it and give you the cash, that's the only way you could possibly get cash out
Just make sure the listing looks 100% genuine otherwise the CC company could look into it
Which would be worse when the withdraw their services and order you to pay back immediately

It's not anything to do with that kit you're getting sprayed is it?
If it is the best bit of advice you can get is take the thing off, back to standard or at least something tasteful and you'll thank me in a couple of years time when your not in debt for a corsa that went out of date in 2002.

When ever I sell anything on eBay, and the eBayer uses a debit card/credit card, it charges the sellers eBay account for it, like a certain %. If they use funds already in their PayPal, it doesn't.
One way it might work in terms of a purchase, is setting up a fake Buy It Now auction for something, and buy it yourself. You lose the % fee for using PayPal as a seller, but then you can transfer everything.
But don't do it, you will regret it

Yes it does. You get charged for receiving, then also charged again for transferring it to your bank. They also take off further % charges if it's a card payment.
I love it when people ask for advice then start telling others their wrong.
