Just heard for Seat UK about my Ibiza TDi130.
It can take B100 (thats 100% Biodiesel)
It HAS to conform to EN14214 regulations.
Sourced a company ~30 miles away that can provide a 200 litre barrel of the stuff for £192 - thats 96p a litre. Quite a saving when I pay an average of 117p a litre.
I recon 200 litres would last me ~3 months. Just, how would I get a 200 litre container home and is it liftable
The ONLY thing is people say im likely to take a little increase in the fuel consumtion, so I wanna know if its ACTUALLY worth it?
Bio - £192 for 200 litres, 96p a litre
Derv - £234 for 200 litres, 117p a litre
So thats a saving of £32...
Any views or ideas?

I wouldn't bother with the hassle for saving £32 over 3 months.
Thats a tenner a month.

But in the long run, your saving over £100 a year. I don't mean to be offensive, but thats alot to me. That money that I could easily be saving

Is it going to me that much more fuel consumption though? Would have to be quite a bit more to make this not worth it imo

Exactly, 1 or 2 MPG is fine, but nothing over that

Doesn't sound overly worth it tbh, what with possible increased fuel consumption too.
Stop trying to be a tight northerner, you don't suit it.

You never know until you give it a go. Moght just go and get a 25 litre container, see what the average MPG is like and take it from there.
But the CHEAPEST round my way is 116.9ppl, most expensive 124.9ppl. Bio is 96ppl

That over a year is £8 per month.
It's a bit of an arseache for no gain imo.

I dont think id bother, I just fill up whenever the tanks empty wherever I may be, I couldnt be bothered backing up to the garage & syphoning off a big silly tank to save a few quid!
