going out to take some pictures just dont know what of tbh

any ideas??

heres a couple i took, tbf didnt actually take that much more couldnt think of where to go
not a massive fan of them really but here they are

oo thats what i wanted to know... what focus setting do you use?? for pics like that ie the backgrounds blurred and the front isnt mine all seem to try and get everything into focus

Used a low apature and Macro also a slight zoom onto the water only 50mm I think

that was on ISO 800 too

rule of thumb is the more you zoom in, the less depth of field


example - If your taking a picture of a mug on a table - for less depth of field zoom right in to the mug with your lense and get close if your taking a pic of the mug.

for more, keep your widest angle possible (no zoom) and just position yourself closer to compensate. You'll see the difference.
