Ive just recieved a GSi bumper n im wanting to remove the grille to fit a post 97 irmy grille. I know i need to fill the recess, but how well does the post 97 grille mate up to it? Ive had a go at removing the GSi grille but it doesnt want to come off. Help please

be very careful with a stanley knife mate and cut out the plastic welds mate

it leaves gaps on both sides i think. doesnt look nice to me

just curios will a gsi grill fit a pre 97 bumper as the grill of a post 97 sits both a like on the gsi and pre 97 bumper leaving that space on the sides

Ive got the grille off now, just cutting bits out of the bumper so the grille can slot on properly, i dont think it looks that bad n the gaps arent that noticeable. I wil be putting a slatted grille with the irmy i badge on it, thanks for responses lads
