So last week i bought a 2.5 v6 vectra sri, w reg(2000).The car is currently being kept in a mates garage while i carry out some changes, and the fact i cant drive it yet as i have to take my test again. Some of you are guarenteed to ask "wont your insurance be high if your license got revoked" well the answer is yes and no, lowest quote iv had is around the 950 mark so i can live with that.Anyway, here are a few pics of the car as it stands and the list of things i plan to do this weekend, will update as and when i add/change things.

This weekends jobs.

-Calliper paint, get them looking abit nicer.(red or black)
-trolley jack
-Some air fresheners, previous owner was a smoker
-New black floormatts
-Irmscher grille(if it turns up on time)
-New numberplates, ones i have now have the garage name/number running across the bottom

So this weekend il be painting the callipers, fitting the grille and plates and also giving it a good clean inside.Interior is mint..no cig burns, rips etc just needs a good hoover.

Next week il be buying and fitting new springs, want to lower it 30-40mm

The car itself isnt going to change all that mcuh, nice simple and clean is the aim.

Full GSI kit
Full GSI interior
Irmscher clear side repeaters

Then once the outside and interior is done il concentrate more on the engine.

Seats arent too bad mate, but iltry that. The interior doesn't smell all that bad just a slight wiff, il put an air freshner in the front, back and boot and that should get t smelling decent after i'v cleaned it

or alternatively the old vax works wonders too, my corsa stank of fags when I bought it (cigarettes not homosexuals), a quick vax, auto glym odour remover and a black ice magic and it was fine

I had the choice of this and an xe corsa in the end, the vec won on insurance, was cheaper, and more comfortable/nicer to drive imo, think they are 170bhp standard or sumat like that so its not all that slow.

My car is the 1.6 sport not too slow either, but saying that after I have made this post the timing belt will snap and it'll be very slow indeed
