1st problem- I got an xe distributer as mine is cracked at one of the connections points for the leads and it totally the same and has the same code but where the lead go on they are shorter on the new one than my old one. I checked the numbers and they match. My engine is the coscast astra gte engine. Is there different sizes? Would a new set of leads help as they as they fall off when i connect them.
2nd problem - I shortned the wrong fuel line and put the feed line on the return connection on the fuel rail and im wondering if i could get away with a long hose instead to connect it up or would i need to get a new fuel line?

1)its the dizzy cap you want to change then.not the dizzy.go to your local motor factor, they should have one in stock.
2)just buy a length of fuel line and a joiner and remake it.

you can join the fuel pipes from the corsa to the xe by using the fuel pipe off a 1.8 or 2.0 vectra
