right basically....
i own a 99 corsa sport, it comes with one of those interior lights that have two little lights and that have the black connector plastic piece to connet it to the light.....
ive bought a smoked interior one for it which has two seperate metal connectors...
is there any way i can change these or not a chance???

Theres always a way m8, i had a bog standard int light n now ive got the one with the 'bug eyes' and ive also got illuminated sunvisors. Just had to run a live cable up the door n across the roof to it for a power supply, o n while i was at it i upgraded the sun roof to electric aswell lol

one should be earth and one should be live can you not connect it to an earth in the car?

the connecter thats in there has four small wires i think going into a black plastic piece which goes into the standard light.
but the new smoked one has two metal pieces either end of the light but ive only got one connector which needs to be split i think

the new one must have come from a older car with different electrics, i wouldnt bother stripping the connecter apart, have a look for a different one and see if its got the right adapters you need
