Ordered some paint from a local trade supplier and gave them the paint code. Code was 10L Glacier white. Done all prep work etc and started spraying and colour is more like a dirty white more grey really. Anyone come accross this before or is it a miss match on paint. Are there several shades of this?
Only sprayed rear tow eye cover as this needed doing but have got boot lid all prepped and waiting

There are several shades of each colour in a lot of cases. You got the paint matched to the code and not to the existing colour on the car. The only way to get it to match is to get the paint on the car matched up with colour chips and then have the paint tinted or mixed to the right shade of the colour. You also need to be careful when painting in patches of paint as it needs to be feathered in so your car doesn't end up like a patchwork quilt...
