Well tbh not much from what everyone said 'cos it was all abit to geeky for me.
I've tried encrypting the network, incase something was trying to get in kind of thing, but when i did that the internet just went off.
I've tried either other setting the wireless setting place.
Its bascially like somebody stops the internet for 10-20seconds every few minutes.

How strong is the signal?
Maybe connect with a cable or do an internet speed test

Try it when its wired. If it works then you know its something to do with the wireless settings. If it doesnt work then you know its something to do with your actual connection (poss you've not got filters plugged into all phone sockets being used).

Still disconnects from things when wired up.. The only filter i've got is where the phone plugs in downstairs.
Basically..
Start -> filter with phone and internet in -> modem -> router -> PC.. Then laptop.

Theres only the one phone plugged in, thats the one downstairs. The one upstairs just uses signal or whatever to ring.
Bugging the fuck out of me. When i try 'diagnose and repair' it just comes up with the internets fine.

also when you encrypt it make sure its done on the pc thats wired to the router and then use a usb to save the setting and setup the laptop to be wireless using the saved info on the usb.id also log into the router and change the channel as it might be interference too.

It will still have a transmitter that's plugged into the wall somewhere. Also, if you have SKY, that needs a filter.

Something is transmitting a signal to that phone.

Is probably wireless. We have 4 phones where only the base station is plugged into the phone line and then the rest are just plugged into the mains for charging.
If it was the wireless playing up (its obviously not as is doing the same when wired) then I'd say it could of been this wireless signal being the same channel and knocking it off - but its not.

Need to find out if the problem is local or related to the ADSL (ATM layer). I'd suggest setting up a continuous ping to your router to see if it starts dropping packets.
