Well thought id start a project thread as ive got alot planned for this.
After i passed my driving test the first car i bought was this.
After a few pounds spent and about a year of ownership it ended up looking like this.
I then ended up selling it as i wanted something abit quicker. Eversince i sold it ive wanted it back as i spent so much time, effort and money getting it to a standard i was happy with.
Sold the car in December 2006
Got a phone call the other day from a friend to tell me that my old car was going cheap as the person i sold it to the cambelt went on him and he cant be bothered to fix it.
So tonite after realising just how much i missed this car i bought it back after a very generous girlfriend gave me the money for it.
Plans are to get it back to the standard it was when i had it with a few added extra's along the way
How it currently looks.
Got abit of work on my hands but ill keep you all up to date with the progress of it.

Nice, another Purple project
Will have to get together when its done, mine is a similar spec, just waiting for paint.
(well, waiting for the bodyshop to take it in, then cut the roof off & weld a new one in, cages & sunroofs dont mix!)

hehe, well update on my bf's purple project.
He took all the valves out the other night, bent to hell....hopefully he'll post the pics at some point.
Putting new ones in took all last night because fitting the collets was horrendous, hoping to have it put back together tonight and it working :S though we'll see.
hehe
