Rochembacks against Man City was better than Ronaldos IMO.

Personally I always think in game goals are better than the dead ball type goals. While they are impressive they are the sort of thing its easier to practice and you see more often. There have been loads of good free kicks this year due to the way the new ball moves

i agree, ingame goals are much better.

im not being biased but adebayors goal is immense, pace of the ball, first touch and then smashing it past Robinson..................all against spurs

C.Ronaldo for me never seen anyone hit a free kick like that in my life, he's breaking boundaries with the way he plays imo.

Agreed, his technique is different to anything else we've seen, the way he approaches and hits down into the ball yet still clears the wall is immense. I'm generally in favour of goals from open play but that was a bit special, Rochembachs was also superb at the weekend.

Yeah... hits it over the wall and in the goal... surely the aim of most free kicks :S

Keeper is on the wrong side of the goal lookign unprepared
