3 or 4 quality players and if they manage to keep everyone else happy i reckon they'll be there or therabouts.
I also think they'll have the top scorer playing for them which usually means you'll be in the mix come the end of the season.

Dunno about that... RVP scored 7 in 11 game at the start of the season before injury... if he can stay fit I expect him to score big this comign season 
I'm sure Adebayor, Ronaldo et al will be there or thereabouts as well

Same every season. Next we'll have pundits saying how Liverpool will be a force and push for it, then they will get 3rd/4th and do well in champs league.
Although they do have a much better team this season that previous seasons so maybe they will do well.

Van Persie will return a decent amount if he stays fit, i doubt we'll ever see another season like this from a winger tbh so i can't see past Torres whom if he manages to start scoring with the same regularity away as he does at home will be untouchable.

They've got a few brilliant players in Gerrard/Masch/Alonso, and Torres is just superb but they don't seem to have the commitment to the league that they show in Europe. They can have a bad result and their heads go down for a few weeks and then they are out of it. Whereas United/Chelsea/Arse will usually batter somebody after a bad result. I suppose its all about consistency.

We shall see, should we not be aiming to be better next year or is that not allowed
We just need to put a long, strong run together, few more players and some more turns of form from existing players and I don't see why not. I recognise we haven't been consistent enough for a while but with a little extra in some positions then we could have turned that lul of 6/7 draws into wins and we would have been right up there.

Tom, I'm just saying it always seems to be ''next season'', I think with a couple of tweaks you have a capable team, just need consistency and for the players to show the same commitment to the EPL as they show in Europe.
