What do you think of the border and sig?
I don't really want the images I upload or do to have a massive border and a sig that takes half the picture away, but still have my name on it, to show it's my image (sad?) I just want something subtle like this... I'd probably make it smaller if I was going to use it, In photoshop its 400pixles (height).

Honestly I hate people putting their names on images, unless you're worried about people stealing them like Jonny did in his skateboarder thread.
The way I see it, we all know its your image - putting any sort of border round (IMO) is a waste of time.

I don't know why I do it tbh, not as if the pic's are going to be used etc. Just as I see other people do it on photog forums, I guess I do it myself as a habit.

If you think about it though, what you've posted doesn't give any protection anyway.
If someone wanted to steal it, it'd only take 2 seconds to crop you name off the bottom.....

If they went to the trouble, I'd say go for it, have the image

I've never liked the "Signiture" style thing, every single person in the world does it.
Borders can enhance a picture a little but i tend not to put them on anymore unless its needed.

I used to bother with borders but not any more, unless It needs it for any specific reason. sometimes it can distract from the photo.

I like borders, but I'm not a fan off 'tagging' the picture. I could understand if people were buying the pictures but if somebody was just pretending it was their picture I'd be pleased as it means it must be good

I only put on a thin black border for web pics.

99% of the signatures are easily cloned out anyway so it's a waste of time.
