i have got a camera obviously but its only a kodak z740 5.0 megapixel
can do ok close ups etc but non like the above...

If you can't manually change many settings then no.
Definetly need to know what you're doing with that 1st pic.

Used 2 off cam flashes either side of the car to light the car. Did one exposure for the sky and bounced the flash off the two concrete poles beside my car to light the roof

100 ISO, for wait for it... 15 seconds @ 30 mph. aperture was 8.0 didn't want to reduce the DOF too much.
I really secured the tripod, surprised it worked to be honest.
