Dont you think its wrong though, that with the likes of Arsenal.. English players will be playing just because of their nationality, not because they deserve to be in the team ahead of others. They know that however bad they play, they'll be playing regardless the following week. Its wrong IMO, although do believe more English players should be in the teams. So I suppose Im 50-50 on it.

English players prices may rise as everyone will want them in their squads.

Prices of English players are the reason why teams are full of foreigners nowadays anyway I reckon.

I tried but my calculator is now also broken, as the huge number of £000's overworked it and broke it.

The thing is it won't make a difference IMO - why - The big clubs will load up thier youth teams with even more foreign player so it will have the very opposite effect they are looking for. They will buy in at a much younger age and then as long as they have trained for 3 years in the team they qualify
They can 'look' into it all they like it will only take a player to take FIFA to court and then it will all go out the window.

It wouldnt even get that far, EU is based on the fact you have free movement of goods and trade between member states, so limiting footballers going to a country to play due to quotas would be against t his - and getting the EU to change it would be impossible.
