To be honest I absolutley stunned anyone would pay that for Emre, although he is really highly regarded in Turkey. I really cant see us signing anyone of any note.

You have no way sold him for £8m, as I said in the other thread, if you have then please let us borrow the negotiator as means we'd get over £20m for Crouch

And we keep getting linked with Milner, swap deal for Riise and Pennant.

Looks like the Milner rumour can be quashed after he committed his self to Newcastle yesterday, although I wouldn't have been particular adverse to that deal.

Im glad, as dont really think he is good enough for us, and certainly not worth what we could sell Pennant and Riise for individually.

I would have been amazed if Liverpool had actually went for that as he wouldn't offer yous anything different to what Pennant does already and with signifcantly less pace. Wouldn't mind Riise though, think he would be good competition for young Enrique or even the LM birth in our 433 formation

Yeah think he's be a good signing for us, however I couldn't see him coming to us, think there would be a few clubs riding higher than us in for him if he became available
