my 1.0L ticks over at 500 revs some times a bit lower, it sounds really rubberly like its about to cut out, anyone got any ideas as the loccally garage are stuck on it

reset the ECU - remove the connection to the battery for at least and hour, this shoudl reset it, start it up let it sit for a minute it will sound a bit rough as it calibrates itself, if you want take it for a short drive may help.....i'd say the Idle control but if a garage have seen it they would have checked that
