i have these wheels





as you can see is it possible to repair the polished lip? or wud i have to have them just a standard silver?

either re-polish them, or have them diamond cut. either way they will need protecting afterwards.
if you have them cut they will clear powder coat them afterwards.

they have Quite bad curbing tho on 2 wheels, cus this be repaired then re-polished?

they will probably turn it down anyway (on a lathe - not refuse the wheel ) so they remove enough metal to get rid of the blemishes if it wont compromise the wheel, and then give it the 'bright' finish.

if they are really deep, they will fill it with weld before commencing.

Dad looked at getting some AC Schnitzer alloys once. They said the polished lip ones, when kerbed, are often not repairable and the person ends up buying a new wheel

bloddly hell that sounds BAD , any idea of a place that would do this? or do i need a specialist?

not sure local to you, but i've used BJV a few times for normal refurbs, and i know they do diamond cutting and repairs.

£30 per wheel for refurb and repolish on the lip and a further £30 if you want the centre painting, so just to refurb the rims will cost you £120 plus i think they have an offer on at the moment, 4 for the price of 3 sort of thing, only in manchester too mate
