I think now Italy are out of the group of death they will make the finals.

Italy always seem to scrape through, then come into their own towards the end of the tournaments.

I reckon they'll edge past Spain, then win it.

Spain have been knocked out of three tournaments - 1986, 1996 and 2002 on penalties, and on each occasion the date was 22nd June

On paper Spain should win it with Pirlo out and Toni misfiring but they always seem to bottle it whilst Italy don't.

Don't underestimate the people replacing Pirlo and Gattuso Gian, they have their opportunity now and are playing for their shirt, most likely trying extra hard to impress and make an impact.
