When taking the car above 3k, you can feel the engine die and the light that comes on when you first start the car, glow plugs, comes on

Sitting at 80 at 3k and it comes on, car dies then picks up again then dies

Mates 1.0 3 cylinder corsa pulled better than it!

Is it a Dci?

If so i'd take it somewhere and get the diesel pump checked pronto. Not too pretty when they go wrong!

Cambelt hasnt been done recently but been thinking about getting it booked in as its at 75k now

If the diesel pump goes, does this result in a snapped cambelt and bent valves?

Can any garage check the diesel pump or will only certain garages be able to?

My mate had a cambelt done at some garage on his old 65, and they didn't use a special tool needed. It wrecked the diesel pump and the engine was scrap metal after.

He has since bought another one and only takes it direct to Renault now.

His display used to go a bit mental. Stop light used to flash etc.

Might be something a bit simple that's causing it. Could only be a misfire by a sensor or something.

Would say it's worth getting checked out quick though.

Why the fuck did he pay that?

They obviously saw him coming

They didnt try and pull the wool over my eyes, seeing as they noticed the lorry brake disc I had in the back of the car

glow plugs are easy to do, just start them up by hand first ive heard story at work where they snap and have to try and get them out check the resisitants on them there will either be an open circut on some or a stupidly high resisitance but they are normally about 0.02-0.06 ohms...also the egr's can break when trying to get them out, if you do get it out in one peice, just run a wire brush over it and just clean it up
