car failed on emmisons at work today for its mot

fast idle test

co: limits - 0.300% actual 0.530%
lambda: limits 0.970 - 1.030 actual 1.033
hc <=200ppm actual 83ppm

second fast idle

co: <=0.300% actual 0.405%
hc <=200ppm actual 79 ppm
lambda 0.970 - 1.030 actual 1.015

what would people go on them results 1.2 8v new cat middel and back box fitted less than 5 months ago

cheers, fitted new lambda sensor, just have to wait and see tomorow if it does the job

take the car for a spanking tomorrow before the MOT.... and change the air filter.. could be something that simple

cant it gets done at work and i wouldnt be able to nip out before its in, unless it gets done at lunch, tbh today the fan kicked in about 3 times trying to do it was up 100 degrees

that looks like you put a patent part cat on it and it needs a bloody good thrash in 3rd gear and an emissions test straight after to get it through.
